The Tire Carrier Swingout DIY Kit is designed for integration with the 1996–2002 4Runner rear bumper, providing a weld-together solution for mounting a spare tire up to 35". Built from heavy-duty steel and engineered for adjustability, it’s ideal for trail use and full-size spares.
– Fits tires up to 35" with 6x5.5 bolt pattern (M12x1.50 studs)
– Square tubing cut oversized for customizable length and angle
– Dual shear hinge with high-load bushings for durability
– Includes latch with 2000 lb holding capacity and safety lock
– Locks open at 100° and closed with spring-loaded plunger
– Compatible with specific rear bumper only (see Notes)

Notes:
This is a DIY kit requiring welding and finishing. Not compatible with body lifts without a gap. Designed specifically for True North rear bumpers—fitment with other brands not guaranteed. License plate must be relocated. May be purchased separately or bundled with a bumper for a discount.
